Max & I went to a Good Friday Brunch (thanks Shelley!). Had a great time catching up with lots of people we haven't seen in ages. Max got so tuckered out playing with everyone, he actually fell asleep lying on my leg! Never done that before. AND he actually stayed asleep despite being transferred to pram, then car seat! Bless.

Your son is very very cute a little miracle. My daughter Lilike was born term weighing 7 pounds at birth at Noarlunga Health Services ER during a rapid birth. Withhh apgars of 7 and 9. And spent 7 days in the admission area of the NNU at Flinders. And 2 days rooming in. 9 days in hospital. She needed only 23-28% 02 blown into a humdicrib for 1 night with no nasal prongs, cpap or vent needed. Because she was breathing fast an hour after birth and pale. And had a low temperature on her day of birth. Adn had a high white cell count of a band nutrophil of 70%. And daily FBE heel sticks which came back negative for infections. Her breathing returned to normal the next morning after her birth and she was demanding for and taking all her bottle feeds. Lilike was a chubby baby. NNU doctors said to us and the nurses she was fit to go home as she was demanding for and taking all feeds via bottle. One nurse came to me alone and said the doctor had told her that he changed his mind about Lilike going upstairs and then home. I guess the nurse took a liking to our gorgeous blonde haired blue eyed chubby little doll baby. Lilike a Pretty Lily Flower :)

Lilike had to spend 5 days on iv antibiotics and 2 days on thigh injection antibiotics.
