Had a cuddle this morning – beautiful. He lasted ages, but then got really restless and had a braddy, so we put him back. Overnight they had him completely off CPAP with only cot oxygen for about 15 minutes! (And weight is now 1415g.) His oxygen levels are mostly 27-35%. Overnight they said they had touched 21% a couple of times.
By evening - he’s in 25-28% and 7m oral feels (plus the 2ml PN and 1ml lipids). It’s so wonderful to be able to hold him and look at him at the same time!
Truly, I think this is the ‘big thing’ I prayed for. Max is answered prayer!
