Hard day for us. He’s having some bad episodes – real apnoeas and subsequent braddys. Apparently it’s due to CPAP itself – and the huge amounts of nasal secretions (which aren’t due to an infection, apparently, so they’re from CPAP as well). Poor wee mite – he hates CPAP and it must be extremely irritating, but he simply can’t cope without it.
He did about ½ hour on low flow, but then began shallow breathing, so they didn’t push him any further.
I’m finding this all extremely hard and it’s really trying my patience. Please try, Max.
