Days 81 & 82. Good stable days. He still needs CPAP – can only go a short time without it without tiring. He has occasional braddys, but infrequently and mostly when a procedure is being done to him or he’s off CPAP for a time.
Weight on 10th = 1860g – an increase of 160g! I was a bit worried by this immense weight gain, but was assured he wasn’t oedematous, so perhaps the infrequent does of chloral (only one or two per day) have calmed him enough as to allow his energy to be converted to weight and not be used up in thrashing around. Being ‘wrapped’ is also helping – keeps him calmer. My little huhu grub!
