Our Max was born on 22 November 2006, at only 24 weeks gestation (16 weeks premature) and weighing 630g. This is his story, and the difficult road he's travelled.
Help Save Tiny Lives...
Our attempts to raise money for the Neo-Natal Unit by selling second-hand baby clothes basically wasn't a success. Unfortunately, we only sold a few on EBAy, and for such small amounts that it just isn't worth it. So, we urge you all to consider making a donation to the Flinders Medical Centre Foundation (and ask specifically for the money to go to the NNU). Check out their site: http://www.flinders.sa.gov.au/fmcfoundation/ - and remember all donations are tax deductible.
Went in at 8.30am – just in time for rounds. It seems that the cardiologist was right, the blood pressure has come right and the kidneys have kicked in! No major changes today, except for restarting EBM – 1ml per hour from 4pm. Good boy Max!
